Shopping for Dog Dresses

Attend costume parties with your pet and dress her up nicely. Reduce her stress and anxiety on the big day by dressing her up a couple of times in the costume you have chosen and walking her around in it. This way, she won’t feel uncomfortable or intimidated on the day itself. Here are some tips when buying dog dresses and costumes:

~Check that the costume fits properly and is not too tight or too loose. You must be able to insert two or three fingers between your dog and the fabric.

• Make sure the outfit is safe. It should have no loose strings and pieces that may cause choking or tripping.
• Go for lightweight costumes as too heavy fabrics may cause overheating and exhaustion. Watch for excessive panting or lagging behind and remove the costume immediately if these happen.
