Getting Out

In Chicago, one of the things I have absolutely hated is the fact that it would always rain whenever I have no umbrella with me. This can be quite a hassle especially when I would take a really long time in order to fix my hair only to get wet once I step out of the house. I have not really grown quite used to the weather here, especially since I grew up in California.

Whenever I get out of the house with my pet, I make it a point that I also have a dog rain coat for him. This way, I can make sure that he gets to be protected at all times. He would usually end up looking pretty messy and dirty after having him to come with me when I run a few errands. Whether I like it or not, I now have a coat for myself and my dog which tends to bulk up in my bag.

One of my friends asked me if I can take care of his pet dog for a few weeks. He will be leaving the country for an assignment and would need someone he can trust to take good care of his pet. Since I always hang out in his house his dog knows me pretty much. I was the perfect person for the job and I had no choice but to agree.

He has been gone for a few weeks, and I must say I have grown quite attached to his pet. I even got the dog some dog hoodies and other accessories which I would get him to wear whenever I take him for walks. I am sure that I will have a difficult time returning him back when my friend comes back. It is probably high time for me to get my own pet this time.

My friend absolutely loves her pets. As a single gal, she keeps herself entertained and accompanied by these creatures in her home. She has the tendency to spoil her pets, especially since she has no one else around except for her friends which she can shower her possessions on. After her parents had passed on, she was left with a huge sum of inheritance with which she can live without worries.

One of her pets’ birthday is coming up, and she is throwing and extravagant party for her pet dog. I was one of those who were invited, so I needed to look for possible apparel for pets which I can get for my pet. This way, my pet would look as chic and presentable especially when a number of influential individuals would be around. Who would have thought even pets can celebrate their birthdays with a bang?

Call me a true blue Cali girl. Growing up in California, I was brought up exposed to the very best in fashion. I have been raised to be careful about what I wear and to always look my best. My parents, after all, are influential people in their own right. The setting in this place is laid back and yet still fashionably stylish at all costs.

This is why my sense of fashion does not stop on myself alone. I also make it a point that my pet is also looking great particularly when I bring him along outside. One of my favorite outfits for my dog is the Gucci summer doggie t-shirt. Who doesn’t know this designer label after all? When it comes to my pet, nothing beats the very best for him. This way we can be a tandem and look great together at all times.

Winter Walks

During the winter season, it can be particularly freezing to get out of the house. We would much rather spend our time inside our homes and be comfortably warm the entire day. There are instances though when we need to get out of the house and perform various tasks and activities, and we would need to take our pet dogs with us. It is also crucial to get our pets to have some exercise even during this period.

It is always important to keep pets protected while they are outside. They too, despite their coats would need to be kept warm during the winter season. Getting them winter ready in dog jackets and Duggz is the perfect getup to keep them warm at all times. This way, pets and owners alike can step out without having to freeze themselves to death.

I first had my pet when I was in middle school. It was so tiny back then that it can fit on my two hands. I really love the fact that it is also very loyal and compassionate among other people and animals around it. When I went to college it was very heart-braking to part with it too.

That’s why after my graduation I asked my parents if I can keep it with me in my new flat in the city. I can see that it was very excited to be with me and we shared happy memories together. When it died I was really devastated and I really cried a lot. I even had it cremated and I placed it in a pet cremation urn that now rests in my living room beside the picture of the two of us together.

Loveable Dogs

My kids love our dogs so much that they want to bring them everywhere we go. Thankfully there are a lot of establishments that can let dogs inside already. When I was a kid the only place where a dog can enter is the park. Now they can enter restaurants, malls and even some hotels. I am glad that a lot of people are now open to the fact that dogs are friendly and loveable creatures.

But whenever we take our dogs outside, we also make sure that they are dressed properly. We have three dogs and we make sure that we buy three set of clothes whenever we buy them at dog stores. We even buy them dog shoes that make them look more presentable when we go out. They are also well-trained and behave very nicely.

Christmas is coming up, and I am particularly excited to see family and friends once again. I usually come home to my parents for a visit as it is required of us to be there during the holidays. This is the perfect time to gather up as a family and enjoy my mother’s wonderful cooking, as we often end up on take-outs during the rest of the year. During these instances, I never leave my dog in my apartment and always take him with me.

For this coming season, I am planning to buy some dog apparel for my pet for him to wear when we get to my parent’s house. This way, both of us would be in great attires while we celebrate this year’s Christmas with the family. I am sure he would look just adorable in these items I bought him. And I am also sure that those who would take a look at him would definitely be delighted too!

Pet Party

As an animal rights advocate, our community in the Los Angeles area will be throwing a Christmas party with our pets. We have been advocating the importance of preventing animal cruelty within our sphere of influence, especially since there are quite a number of alarming incidents which humans are doing to their pets. Since they own these pets, they normally think they have the right to do whatever they want with them.

For the party, we will be having a fundraiser as well at the end of the show. This is the last opportunity for us to raise funds for a good cause, and it is important that we look our best. Our pets, of course, must also be dressed in style in their dog clothes. After all, this is their night and we would want to show them how much we are concerned about their welfare.

Clean and Dry

During the rainy season, it would be very frustrating to have our feet and legs wet. It can be particularly irritating to have those weird squeaky sounds because our shoes have been filled with rain water. Worse than that, it may smell after a while if they are dried improperly. The rain can be a great thing for plants and trees, but they are not particularly great for those who are wearing designer shoes.

For the pets, it is also important that they get to have dry and clean feet as well. This is especially so when we get them out of the house with us. To make sure that our pet dogs are happily dry, then waterproof dog boots are the solution. This way, they can rid themselves of the possible bacteria and grime caused by wet streets and sidewalks.
